Getting started

This guide walks you through setting up BOS on your WordPress site, from installing the plugin to publishing your first program.

Before you begin

You need a WordPress site running version 5.8 or later, PHP 7.4 or later, and an approved BOS account. WooCommerce is only needed if you plan to sell lessons.

Install and connect

Install the BOS Lessons plugin from the WordPress plugin directory, activate it, then paste the API key from your BOS dashboard into the plugin settings.

Add the library to a page

Create a new page and add the shortcode below. The library will appear using your theme’s fonts and colors.

Next steps

Create your first program in the BOS dashboard, then link it to a WooCommerce product so students can buy it.
